Colorado Announces New Water and Wastewater Engineering Leader

Lamp Rynearson has selected Bob Orsatti, PE, to lead their drinking water and wastewater engineering division in Lakewood, Colorado. Orsatti brings 39 years of executive-level business development and project management experience in the Colorado Region to the firm.

In this role, Orsatti will lead a team of professionals who specialize in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure in Colorado. “We have a talented group of engineers in place. The mentorship and technical excellence Orsatti demonstrates is key as we expand our firm’s expertise to serve larger treatment systems,” commented Pete Carlson, Colorado Region Leader.

Prior to joining Lamp Rynearson, Orsatti was a senior operations and department manager for an international firm. His strengths include revenue performance, financial management, and operational efficiencies. “Population growth is quickly exceeding water and wastewater system capacities where we live,” said Orsatti. “Infrastructure improvements and new facilities are priorities for communities throughout Colorado. My vision for our team is to build trust through partnerships with communities of all sizes and deliver affordable solutions for their water and wastewater systems.”

Orsatti has received many honors over the past two decades from the American Consulting Engineers Council (ACEC) for wastewater and water treatment projects. He was most recently recognized in 2014 for the design and construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in Nederland, Colorado, which ranked in the top 10 percent of the country for water quality.
