Fort Scott Aquatic Center

Replacing an outdated pool with a state of the art aquatic facility, while preserving the character of a 1936 historical WPA (Works Project Administration) facility was a challenging goal for the Larkin Aquatics design team. Collaboration, creativity and technical expertise came together to produce an aquatic recreational destination that serves both leisure and competitive swimming. Replacing the outdated pool and restoring the original brick seating area enhanced the facility’s dramatic backdrop.
