McMeekin & Atkins Take on National and Statewide Roles for ACEC

Michael P. McMeekin, P.E., President of Lamp Rynearson, has been elected to the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) National Executive Committee of the Board of Directors

This committee position will officially begin with the 2017 ACEC National Convention in Washington D.C. in April, and continue for a two-year term.

An ACEC College of Fellows Inductee, McMeekin is also a graduate of its Senior Executives Institute - an advanced management, leadership, and public policy training program for leaders of engineering and architectural firms. McMeekin is an avid volunteer for both civic and industry organizations, such as ACE Mentor Omaha and Omaha by Design.

Terry Atkins, P.E., Sr. Vice President for Lamp Rynearson, is the 2017 President of ACEC Nebraska. An engaged industry volunteer, Atkins has served ACEC Nebraska since 2011. In his role as ACEC Nebraska president he will work with the Board of Directors, Nebraska’s director Jackie McCullough, and ACEC staff to fulfill the organization’s purpose: to provide private engineering firms with tools and education opportunities to be better business owners and managers.
