A Culture of Giving Back
An avid volunteer, Mike McMeekin, President and CEO of Lamp Rynearson, was featured in an Omaha World Herald Thanksgiving day section fittingly called “The Thankful Edition.” Mike has led our firm for 20 years and has engaged, inspired and instilled the idea in each of our firm’s employees to do more and make a difference. Mike leads by example.
As mentioned in the article, Lamp Rynearson employees are encouraged to give back. Yes, it’s even reasonable and acceptable to volunteer during work hours. See the link below to read what Joe Zadina has to say about what it’s like to work with Mike and why Joe chose to stay on as a Lamp Rynearson employee following his internship 14 years ago.
Mike has created a culture of “giving back” to our communities that aligns with Lamp Rynearson’s business goals. If imitation is, indeed, the sincerest form of flattery, Mike can feel good about his behaviors, values and beliefs and how he has passed them on to multiple generations within our firm’s four offices.
